LOCATION: Heritage Park, Rome, GA Pre-and post-race activities will be behind the Levee on 2nd Avenue and in the park next to the finish line. Race starts on 2nd Avenue and runs through downtown Rome and finishes on the Levee.
REGISTRATION: Online registration now until July 27: 5K $25 and 2 Mile $20. Online registration from July 28-August 8: 5K $30 and 2 Mile $25. Race Day registration: 5K $35 and 2 Mile $30. Teams of 10 or more (any combo of run and walk) receive a discount of $3/person. Team registrations must be submitted no later than August 8, 2018.
PRE-RACE PACKET PICK UP:
AVOID THE RACE DAY CROWD! Pre-registered participants may pick up race packets/numbers on Friday, August 17 from 4-6pm at Pro Performance, 100 Broad Street, Rome.
AMENITIES: Short-sleeved t-shirts guaranteed to all participants pre-registered by August 8. Remaining shirts will be distributed until gone. All participants in the event are eligible for great packets, music, refreshments, and great swag.
5K AWARDS: Male and Female-1st place for Overall, Grandmasters, and Masters. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, in each5-year age group from 10U-75 and older. 5K race is chip timed. USATF Certified course GA13073WC. The 2 Mile walk is not timed and not competitive.
